Tara moved to California the summer of 2014 to pursue her career there & a few months later she befriended Rebecca, Johnny's sister, who had also moved to California from Massachusetts. Not long after, Johnny followed his sister's move west & that is how Johnny & Tara first met.
They went on their first date in the summer of 2015 to the Arclight Theater in Hollywood (RIP). They got dinner & drinks first & missed the beginning of the movie, which was “Ted 2” (Fun Fact: the timeline of dating to engaged is the same length as modern-day Hollywood’s blockbuster-sequel to streaming series!)
After years of enduring traffic on “the 101, the 5, the 405” to see each other on weekends, they moved to San Gabriel together in the spring of 2019. Their relationship has withstood living together through a global pandemic, bouts of un(der)-employment, (let’s be honest) bouts of over-employment, & 2 cross-country road trips (West to East & back, South to North & back). They enjoy going to the beach, going to concerts, going to many entertainment industry events, hiking & biking & still going on road trips & camping trips.
Though they may not have any furry friends at home, they have plenty of companionship in their pet, Lemons (a well-loved & very productive member of the household!)
